Paws&Me ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring the security of your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our Paws&Me mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service").

Inka Terra Perú, S.A.C. (the "Developer") is the data controller responsible for the processing of your personal information in the Paws&Me app. You can contact us via the support channel provided within the App or by email at [email protected].

Paws&Me is an artificial intelligence-powered photo transformation application that allows you to transform photos of you and your pets together, or photos of your pets alone, with various AI-driven templates, styles, and creative effects. We understand that when you use our Service, you are entrusting us with your personal information and visual content, and we take this responsibility seriously.

This Privacy Policy applies to all users of the Paws&Me application, whether you access it through mobile devices or other platforms. By using our Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of this Privacy Policy, please do not use our Service.

We encourage you to read this Privacy Policy carefully and contact us if you have any questions or concerns about our privacy practices. We are committed to transparency in our data handling practices and will always strive to protect your privacy while providing you with the best possible user experience.

We may update this Privacy Policy according to changes in our service functions and measures concerning the protection of Personal Information. If we make changes to this Privacy Policy, we will update it through our App. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Personal Information

When you create an account with Paws&Me, we collect certain personal information that you voluntarily provide to us. This includes information obtained through third-party authentication services. If you choose to sign up using Apple ID or Google Account, we may receive information from these platforms, including your email address, name, and profile picture, depending on your privacy settings with those services.

We do not require you to provide additional personal information beyond what is necessary to create and maintain your account.

1.2 Visual Content and Pet Images

Photo Library Access. To enable you to select and upload photos of you and your pets, Paws&Me requires access to your device's photo library. We will only request this permission at the moment you choose to upload an image, and you may grant or deny this access. You can revoke photo library access at any time through your device's Settings app.

Upload and Processing. As an AI-powered pet photo transformation application, Paws&Me processes the visual content you upload, including photographs of you and your pets together, or photos of your pets alone ("Visual Content"). When you upload content to our Service, we analyze various aspects of your images to provide our AI transformation features.

When you upload photos to Paws&Me, we ensure that such Visual Content is transferred securely and encrypted to our server. Our artificial intelligence algorithm analyzes the photos you upload and applies them to the template you choose to generate stylized pictures. It's important to note that no biometric data is collected and processed during this process.

We do not use facial recognition to identify specific individuals. Furthermore, we do not create biometric identifiers, faceprints, or user profiles based on the detected features in your photos. All detection data is transient and used solely to apply the selected effect.

Data Usage Commitment. We process your Visual Content on Paws&Me's server only for the purpose of generating photos as you request. We do not sell your Visual Content to third parties, and your images and related data will not be used for marketing or advertising purposes without your explicit consent.

1.3 Device and Technical Information

We automatically collect certain technical information about your device and how you interact with our Service. This includes your device type, operating system version, unique device identifiers, IP address, app version, screen resolution, and mobile network information. We also collect information about your app usage patterns, including which features you use most frequently, session duration, crash reports, and performance metrics.

This technical information helps us understand how our Service is being used, identify and fix technical issues, improve performance, and ensure compatibility across different devices and platforms.

1.4 Usage and Analytics Data

We collect information about how you interact with our Service, including the features you use, the templates you select, credit/token usage, and your content creation patterns. This usage data helps us understand user preferences, inform the development of our AI features, and create new offerings that better serve our community. This data does not include your Visual Content or generated images.

We use Adjust, a mobile attribution and analytics platform, to collect and analyze app usage data for the purposes of measuring marketing campaign performance, understanding user acquisition channels, and analyzing user behavior within the app. Adjust may collect device identifiers, installation sources, user engagement metrics, and other usage-related data.

We track user engagement metrics such as session frequency, feature adoption rates, and user retention patterns. This information is crucial for maintaining and improving our Service quality and ensuring that our AI algorithms continue to evolve to meet user needs.

1.5 Credit/Token Information

We maintain records of your credit/token balance, purchase history, and usage of virtual currency within the App. This information is necessary to provide the Service and manage your account. Credit transactions are processed through Apple App Store, and we do not collect or store your payment information directly.

2.4 AI Model Training and Improvement

We do not use your uploaded Visual Content, generated output, or any personal data to train, improve, or fine-tune our artificial intelligence models or machine learning algorithms. Your content is used exclusively to provide the specific generation service requested by you in that instance. Any algorithmic improvements are made using aggregated, anonymized usage statistics only.

We use Adjust analytics to understand how users discover and interact with our app, measure the performance of our marketing campaigns, and identify areas for product improvement. This data is used in aggregated form and helps us make informed decisions about our service development and marketing strategies.

Before disclosing information for legal reasons, we carefully review each request to ensure it is valid and necessary. We will notify you of such disclosures when legally permitted to do so.

4.5 Aggregated and Anonymized Data

We may share aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified information that cannot be used to identify you personally. This might include general usage statistics that help us improve the Service while protecting individual privacy.
